Thanks for this video. Based on what I see this hotel is very close to Chinatown MRT and I assume there are many food stalls for breakfast within walking distance from the hotel correct? I see many reviews complain about the room is old and dated but overall do you encounter this dirty issue in your room? We just need a clean, central location and budegt hotel. Thanks

@@glin930 We haven't experienced any dirtiness in our room or elsewhere in the hotel. We don't know if our room category plays a factor in this but we were very happy with our stay. Yes it's very close to Chinatown MRT and also has a bus stop very near to the hotel. We haven't had any breakfast on our stay (we're more the early lunch type) but there are many restaurants close to the hotel (Clarke Quay and Chinatown). We would definitely come back to this hotel as it was a nice experience with a good price-performance-ratio. We hope this helps you to make a good decision for your next stay in Singapore. Is the 17th floor where you stay also has water dispenser too? Is the property provice daily housekeeping?

Yes! There's a water dispensing machine on each floor. About the housecleaning they say: "We're reducing housekeeping services to after every third night of stay to promote environmental conservation".

We have statyed in the smae hotel in our recent tour to Singapore. Its a nice hotel with good staff. The hotel is located at city centre as name suggested. Recommended. ❤

I have stayed in this hotel last year. It is dated, carpets in the corridors are in shocking condition , breakfast was rather disappointing and pool extremely uninviting. It has an amazing location to walk most of places and the price is excellent compare to other properties. I have booked another stay in there already, just plan your stay to spend all day outside and only use it as a place to sleep. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

Sorry to hear you haven't had such a good experience. We actually very enjoyed our stay but we can imagine that the rooms could be different and therefore the experience can be different as well. But we totally agree with you that it has a great location. If you write this to the hotel directly, they may improve in the future. Hope your next stay will be a lot better and enjoy your trip!

We are not the hotel so better ask the hotel itself but we doubt that there are hotel rooms without windows.
