Furi is one of my favorite games. Not for its difficulty, though, rather for the music, esthetics, how polished the mechanics are. Every single action is just so nice to perform! I hate the sniper boss btw, she was too gimmicky imo I believe, Furi is pronounced [fu'ri] and it's a Japanese word. However, I'm unsure. Anyway, highly recommend to play the game with the Japanese VO

Another really solid video. Your quality is really impressive for the size of your channel (I think I may have said something like this before but seriously it’s really good). haven’t played this game, but to answer your pinned question, I have always struggled to find interest in the intentionally difficult games like the Souls games, though I am giving them another try this year hopefully. That being said I used to be afraid of difficulty, but at some point in my adult life I started playing most games on the hardest difficulty provided to challenge myself. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, this game looks really pretty and I can see it being in really rewarding when you improve at the mechanics.

Thank you so much man! I can't tell you how much I appreciate the kind words. I watched your top 10 games of 2023 and really enjoyed it! Love hearing about games others are digging. :) I'm with you with regard to difficulty, with the occasional exception. A perfect example is actually the Souls series, of which I'm a huge fan. I'm curious to hear your thoughts if you give the franchise another try. I think, ultimately, my tolerance of difficulty is dependent upon the game's genre and mechanics. Furi is one that I was wiling to push through!

Let me know what you think of it if you get around to it! I was fuming on occasion, but the satisfaction of overcoming is incredible. Also, it's really remarkable how much easier it gets once you beat it once. I hadn't played the game in years before capturing this footage and I was able to play all the way through without ever dying! It's like riding a bike, haha
