There's only one small thing that kind of bugs me about the planet mode. The visible head in the articulated mouth. If Studio 1 somehow managed to put a panel behind the mouth to cover up the head and left the light showing, it wouldn't look so odd when it's opened. Other than that, it's an a awesome figure of the chaos bringer.

That was fantastic. I'm wondering if you'd actually be able to hear Unicron transforming though since sound waves can't travel in a vacuum, or would you be able to hear it because his planet mode would be large enough to create a atmosphere and would allow sound waves to travel across the surface? pretty stumped on that

I don't want to be that guy, but sound waves actually can travel through space, they're just at such a low frequency that we can't hear them without the use of machines.

Unicron's body is large enough to qualify as a dwarf planet. He has his own ecosystem. It's not to much of a stretch to assume he'd have some form of atmosphere as well

This figure looks much better/cleaner than the Giant Hasbro one.. it looks more cartoon accurate as well. The only thing that the Hasbro version has over this one is size and certain aspects of the transformation that are similar to how Unicorn transformed in the 1986 movie.. like the arms sliding back to reveal the hands. Overall this figure..01 Studio is better
