Hi everyone! First of all, thanks for stopping by and apologies for the late release, but with this cover in particular I decided to take my time and make it as good as I can. I hope you're excited about my version of Furina's theme! Unfortunately I don't know any voice actress / singer who also happens to speak french to collab with. I hope you still enjoy this "instrumental" version, I tried my best to not lose the feeling of the original. Have a wonderful day! ^-^

Ever since I heard this come out, I was ready from the start to hear your version of this and oh dude. You were totally right, I absolutely LOVED this. Also that violin solo! I hear all the articulations you made there and also automation. SO GOOD. Everything was done so well!!

I'm very happy that you liked it! :D And I'm glad that you mention the violin - it's my favorite part, and it required the most effort and time to program accurately with all the different articulations and controls. Most of my time was spent fine-tuning all the little details, and I'm very proud of the results!

Furina's theme has become one of my favourites :OOO It's so complete, goes through so many different emotions, and forms a whole that follows perfectly! As for your cover, it's obviously very well done, as I was expecting ^^ Comparing it to the original, I find it hard to know which one I prefer, but I still think that the original is a bit superior, after all it's really hard to do better xDD However, what I really like in your version are the transitions, they've been softened in your own way that really makes sound the music good! ^^ Otherwise, the instrumental version of the lyrics at the end gives me the impression of hearing the voice xD It's really well done :OOO Congratulations for this beautiful cover, I can't imagine the work it must have taken :OOOO You did well to take your time! ^^

Furina's theme is definitely amongst my favorites as well! I love how varied and full of life it is, fits Furina perfectly :D Yeah, can't really compare to the original haha, after all, it's made by simply listening to the music and trying to recreate it accurately (with all the voices and sound effects on top of the video it can be pretty tough especially when there's a lot of busy sections). As long as it's still enjoyable, that's all that matters and I'm glad you like it! I was worried at first because of the lack of vocals but I think the instruments made a decent enough job, certainly not as good as an actual singer would have been though xD Thanks for listening and the lovely comment Luna!

You recreate it just by LISTENING to it, you're a thousand times stronger than I imagined at the time :OOOOOOO I'm shocked, now that I know that, I have even more respect than I already had for all musicians, ultimate GG for this omg :OOO Too strong

@@MilkyWayTheCat That's right! For my covers I don't use any samples of the original music at all (or else it would be more like a remix than a cover). Everything you hear is transcribed by ear and played by hand with my virtual instruments and then I adjust numbers and values for velocity and dynamics of various notes and instruments. There's hours of listening involved (and sometimes trying to decipher what even is playing behind all the voices/sound effects). So yea, covers consist of hours of listening and repeating the same sections until I get it right like in the original (of course it helps to have music knowledge to make covers even more accurate and high quality)

@@MilkyWayTheCat at least that's my understanding of the terms. I know that many people use them interchangeably and call something a remix even though it's technically not. Sometimes people just call their music "mix" which can be either really. Mainly, it's about whether or not samples from the original music have been used. And since you're mentioning it, whenever I'm quick with my releases, it's because I start the cover shortly after Genshin puts their video up and typically work on it for the majority of my day. :D

Thanks man! I'm always extra careful with adding reverb especially in these big band type of arrangements. It's a tough balance act but I might have been a little too conservative in some sections so I appreciate the feedback :D

Could I use this instrumental to try to do an Spanish Dub of Furina and all the characters that appear in the demo? If the answer is "no" I have no problem, but I loved so much and I want to use it to do something because was perfect.
