I think if Warner Bros/Legendary play their cards right this awards season _Dune Part Two_ will get Oscar noms for best: adapted screen play, director, picture, score, actor/actress, supporting actor/actress, as well as all the technical noms.

I saw this movie and I 100% agree with you about this movie being so much more expansive. I'm still miffed that it's not Charlize Theron but Anya Taylor Joy did well!!! The stunt teams and production / art design teams are the real stars of the movie!

Hopefully we will get Theron back for the next instalment. Makes sense she wasn’t in this one given that it’s a prequel, but Taylor Joy did a wonderful job of putting her own stamp on the character. You prefer this or Fury Road Jane? X

Hehehehe yes I did and it was a full circle moment for me seeing this film in Cannes cause I saw fury road for the first time in Cannes (which was my first ever Cannes) 😁

@LukeHearfield Did you hear that the various women actors found working on this movie isolating? It sounds like George Miller did not provide a good working environment. I don't know if it falls into a me too kind of vibe, but something perhaps more mentally abusive? At least, that was my sense of it when I heard it. I don't know how true it is, or if my memory is playing tricks on me.
