Tony Randall was such a great comedian! I was worried about quality when the show went from a one-camera (with a laugh track) to a three-camera with a studio audience, but it really improved the comedy of the show. It made the production more like theater--and the one-liners made it more like Neal Simon's original play.

The first season was easily the weakest and thank God Jack and Tony pushed for Three Camera with the live audience. Odd Couple just doesn't work without the theatrical experience.

The show filming live afforded the opportunity for Tony and Jack to play off the audience which is turn allowed them to really shine with their comedic talents, wit and charm which resulted far funnier results compared to the first season.

Tony Randall gave us decades of great performances in film and TV. I loved him in the Odd Couple. You compiled his funny rants as Felix, but IMO the “over- repetition” of 2 sec bites of video was more annoying than entertaining. Here’s a suggestion: use some time to play the program’s theme music.
