I live in the USA and it’s really the minority here. The country just has a higher population, almost as big as the entire EU. Normal people don’t make good content though. Also many of these stories aren’t from the US. (though most are) I think some people are a little more entitled due to the fact that their country is a superpower or something? You have no idea how crazy callers can be. In my job I once received a call, before I can even finish with welcoming statement she wants my full name. I provide that information as it can be provided on request, she then said that she is going into hospital and wants it recorded or she will hold me personally responsible. Now, I would love to say that I had malicious compliance but I do one better. As she never provides me with their information I therefore do not have their file to leave any notes, and as they hung up it is not my fault. My manager listened to the call (as like this story all calls are recorded) and backed me up saying if they do file a complaint against me it will not be upheld as I did nothing wrong. Enjoy it as see it as you see fit, but that was the one of the times I felt vindicated in my job. In my job, you take the victories where you can get them.

Used to work in a Hospital. C.Diff is something we had to put people in special isolation for, wear PPE for, as well as use extra cleaning measures on anything they touched. Unless things are different now, only bleach is able to kill it. A non-medical transport would not have been able to help that lady, and most certainly not a rental company. I don't feel pity for the guy being fired for what he did either. He's an adult and should know better

In the first/title story. I've heard it before, but this is the first time that I have heard the outcome. Even though the OP didn't want Karen's husband fired. Und even though he was a "good" employee. He *LIED* to his boss about his involvement in everything. When not only the outgoing message that makes it clear, but the OP told Karen & her husband *MULTIPLE* times that their company was *NOT* a medical transport company. The husband, especially knowing how his wife is. Should have taken the OP's word that they aren't a medical transport company.

About Story #3 I must say, as someone who is very disabled (not Wheelchair-Bound, but very close to - and actually I would have one, if I wasn't that stubborn about it), must say: The doughter is so right, and her parents just so damn wrong. When you, as a disabled person, are constantly reminded, what you can't do, but wish you could - it just hurts. I do understand the parents, as it is difficult to understand from a "normal" point of view, but they are just wrong.

They most likely fired him for the impersonating a security officer most places won't take chances on that. Even if it isn't illegal it is questionable and if he went to that jump for his wife it's possible another time he could try to claim he was a police officer which again would be illegal so the hospital probably didn't want to take the risk of that in the future and wanted to wash their hands clean of it in case there was a lawsuit

Actually people ‘can’ get covid more than once, there have been cases. That said, getting covid more than once is no excuse to become an abusive psychopath. And if anything, i am surprised she could speak after that. Covid absolutely destroys people’s voices. If anything, covid should be a humbling experience. But i guess narcissists truly never learn. I work tech support for doctors, nurses, for a while patients. I can see if someone has covid on my end, though i am not allowed to say over the phone(HIPPA) to the patients. Ive had people who could barely speak. So i doubt if she had covid or not, we have no way of knowing. Whats sad is, i get psychopaths over the phone to(we have strict verification requirements for patients to), and its always verification or lack of willingness to verify when they go karen on me. Sad thing is, one of my bosses was a ‘side with karen idiot’. Im glad i have a new boss and am transfering away from patient support to focus on supporting medical staff again.
