I have seen so much decoupage online, but no one come close to close to the realistic finish of yours! The others attempted blend in the background by trying to match the color, but it simply didn’t match! Whereas you do finished painting in the background! Wow! What a huge difference that makes! So much better than the disembodied figures stopped halfway down with the non-matching background all the way down! Thank you for showing how to do it the correct way! I think this is the absolute best example of embedding a decoupage i have ever seen. I mean, flawlessly seamless! This shows how excellent your knowledge of color is as well. Plus, it's in chalk paint, a notoriously difficult medium to paint like that with! Wow... just WOW Jonathan!!!😚👌🤩🤩🤩

Inspiring! I have several bedroom french pieces I haven't touched because I want them to be my art pieces, but dont want to jump in ,and I want them to blend .I'm thinking of the ballet .I've never decoupage b4 , and have not not used chalk paint ever, so this is new to me.

My suggestion is just dive in and have fun chalk paint is a very playful product and it’s quite forgiving so just go with it 😊
