I can visualize this desk in many settings even though it is very unique. It looks like it was Great Grandpa's desk and has a lot of stories to tell. I loved the oversized blending brush. You should be very proud of the risks and rewards on this desk. Between the bright colors, the texture, the blending, and the dark wash you took many risks. Congratulations on the outcome.

So cool! I've used that baking soda paint technique on small pieces before, like glass vases, but never on furniture. I love how much texture you get with it mixed into the clay paint. What a gorgeous blend and truly stunning result, it's a cozy fall day in a piece of furniture. Well done!

Im a huge fan of debbi diy paint. Ive never used dixie belle yet but I will eventually im sure. Love how this piece turned out. The colors...i wasnt sure of in the beginning but u did an amazing job bringing it all together. The diy clay paint I love because of the highs and lows u get in the clay paint that u just dont see with ur average chalky paints is accentuated with wax...wven with Polycrylic...but the waxes just take this finish to the next level!! The colors actually looks cozy like fall...just beautiful

Yes 🙌 isn’t she just amazing! I love her paint and videos are SO fun to watch. I still have this piece is is one of my all time faves. Actually most of the furniture I end up keeping is painted with DIY paint 😆 The organic look of the clay paint isn’t for everyone for sure but I’m a huge fan! Glad you like them too!

@@VintageAndPainted I have bought many pieces of furniture with intent to try n sell...but I always seem to find room for the pieces in my own home. And ur right not everyone likes the paint. My parents come to my house and see my painted but distressed...chippy...crackled paint and they thought we were broke and just didnt wanna buy new furniture....they get it now that we paint stuff and try to make it looks old...hahah...my dad gets upset when I paint the really old pieces. I mean if they gave me an antique I prolly wouldnt paint it...because it would be sentimental...but I have no attachment to pieces I buy on offer up or at a thrift store...so its ok if I "ruin" the pieces...right now...with all the chaos in the world and craziness im just so glad to have channels like urs and paint to clear my mind.
