Yes Diane the stems of leaves look better with water in the vase. The only problem is, usually the stems of fake branches and leaves have a metal wire at the centre and this metal will eventually rust and your water will turn rusty colour.

Heh it’s the same weather here in the nordic countries. Atleast we sometimes have snow in the wintertime and not just cold wet rainy weather. That kind of cold goes straight thru your clothes to the core lol. Quite gutted you moved house even though I understand why. This one feels so soulles and the decor you got would have suited more to the older house or similar. The yard is also very clinical.

So lovely to see you eating out with your Strictly “Girls” I cut the stems off my artificial flowers/greenery so the sit better in vases. Also glass beads look good in clear glass vases. Prune your Wisteria correctly, twice in the summer season and it will flower twice. I got that tip from a video on Ytube, mine is just starting to bloom for the second time this summer. Yours is well established and will look stunning when it grows across the top. It's a vigorous and strong climber. Cheers

My big apple tree full of little green or red ripening apples has fallen on its side with the trunk cracked at the bottom. It’s full of fruit, leaves, ivy, honeysuckle. Would you leave the fruit on to ripen or collect the fruit and saw up the branches & trunk?

The best thing to do is to put the fake plant in resin which will harden and look like water, but it won’t develop algae like water will. ❤
