[Furry ASMR] Explore the Earth with Me! | Soft Spoken

I'm quite happy with this one for once! There's no fun sounds or anything but I think this is a nice chill video with me just rambling about stuff that doesn't matter lol. Also I talk about golf courses in this video and like immediately after recording I found this post on reddit: / 132edwd Turns out there are a ton of golf courses in Japan! Who knew? Not me :p
I had this idea for a while and originally I wanted to do this IN google earth VR but it's not possible to get good audio that way. My PC would be loud and the VR base stations make an annoying whine so I couldn't do that in real-time. And the alternative would have been trying to navigate to the same places as the audio during the VR portion while trying to pantomime which would have been a total nightmare. Then I decided I could do it "weatherman style" which is what you see here. Originally I was using google earth on my tablet which was a total pain because it kept stopping recording randomly. I re-recorded parts of this video so many times before giving up on that method :/ So finally I decided to use remote desktop on my tablet while recording on my PC in a different room from my PC and THAT worked great! But that's also why the recording sounds a bit echo-ier than usual :p. Maybe it would be a tiny bit simpler if I just got a vtuber but idk I feel like that has its own problems.
IN ANY CASE to sum it all up, this video definitely pushed me to be pretty clever with the technology to make this but I think it turned out really well! I learned a lot and I could totally make more videos using these techniques!
Oh also new song at the end is Sweden from Minecraft :D I'll probably post a full video of that mid-week just for fun.

Heya! About the China map dislocation: PRC basically uses the same coordinate system as the rest of the world as the basis for maps, but they have a system which intentionally shifts the latitude and longitude by a few hundred metres or so. Some mapping services like Google and Bing don't have the system to decode which is why it appears off-centre when using satellite mode. They say this is for national security, but it's still really odd because you can see a satellite map as normal if you use Apple Maps, Baidu Maps or Mapbox. Baidu even has a Street View function like Google Maps does but for China, but the downside it's all in Mandarin so it might be tricky to navigate. Anyway I think this is a really cool video, you have some really awesome content that I really enjoy watching, so thanks! :3

Personally I think you have reached a Furry ASMR Sweet Spot: Whispering cat exploring interesting geography and places, weatherman style with a really awesome calming voice. This is unique and I love it! 🤗My only improvement suggestion would be to try to make the Google Earth transitions a bit smoother/softer/slower as this is sometimes a little bit jerky for an ASMR video. Anyway, you got me subscribed... 😊

Wow, here's a new video. And my God... it's gorgeous. I always admire the way Pwill prepares for his performances. Today we visited Japan, and it's an incredible feeling. The Tokyo Tower, which can compete with the Eiffel Tower, even with our Ostankino cave... Pwill is just an incredible tour guide. And I see a live cat in front of me, who again gave us a lot of warmth. I do not know by what miracle I stumbled upon the first video with the help of algorithms, but I do not get tired of following them. To be honest I don't really view stuff like that as "in my style" so I'm hesitant to make it mostly because I don't think I'll do a very good job. But that being said I have done roleplays like that before (doctor and storytime) and I do have plans for more like that! Thank you!

Searching through Google Earth used to be one of my favorite things to do on free time. In fact, I even looked though the entire Milky Way most of the time. It was fun. You are right, it's really crazy all the amount of water being used for a golf course, when in reality, not letting the grass grow enough to produce more oxygen is kinda worrying...Personally, I never liked mowed lawns, they might look aesthetically ok, but it just destroys more of the natural environment.
