I never knew Myst until today, but I've been crying for him for about an hour now. He seemed like such an amazing person, and he didn't deserve this. He was so strong for holding out for so long, I hope he rests in peace. He'll be remembered forever.

@@naga_serpentis Majira didn't say. I've been trying to find news, but without luck. (Takoda is a surprisingly common fursona name.) Incidentally, of the several Furry news outlets I've found, none of them run obituaries. One day I ought to ask somebody why.

@@dotter8 Maybe it is to protect privacy, or that in fear that others may judge for the reason of death, or some other factor. It is genuinely very sad many furries pass for many reasons, and from what I looked up most deaths are self-caused. Hopefully in the future things will look better, it is such a tragedy to see furries go through things like this. I’ve lost countless friends over the years due to unfortunate situations.

@@naga_serpentis Oh goodness Achak, I'm sorry to hear that you've lost so many friends! I can't imagine what that must do to you. Newspapers run obituaries everyday, especially for famous people. OTOH there are legal reasons to announce a family member's death that probably don't apply to Flayrah.

If this is about somebody ☠️'ing themselves because of hate and mean things... its horrible, because some people arent as resistant and it can really hurt them mentally. Everytime i see a furry video, of fur cons. It makes me want to be there🥶

I'm really, really sorry about your loss Majira. I'm not sure I've ever heard of Myst before, but still I really am sorry. Lately I've been thinking about becoming an official member of the Furry Fandom and I've decided that if I do end up deciding to do it, I'll do it in honour of him. Everything I do in the Furry Fandom, I'll do it for him, and that's what you and everyone else in the Fandom should do as well. Every time you decide to fursuit and do something funny, do it for Myst because I know he would still be wanting you to continue living your life and keep on doing what you love. Just remember that Myst will always be with you in spirit and that he'll live on in the memories you shared together. R.I.P. Myst Dingo, you will be missed entirely by the Furry Fandom which will never, ever be the same without you.

WHY! Every time i think of watching another furry video... 20% of the time it mentions someone in the fandom passed away... now, i can't get sad easily. But when someone gets mentioned about them dying... i instantly feel regret and sadness... i feel bad for them and everything that they went through. Even though i don't know them. They could turn off your Internet at any time, and if they actually did that I'm sure you would change your opinion real quick.
