Fursuit Building // Fursuit Head

This is the updated fursuit building timelapse video. I do plan to do other timelapses for the other parts of a fursuit. This video features my main fursona, Moore. She was built in ~28 hours, just in time for a local bowling meet. Her whole partial features a foam base, lined head, 2D eyes, plush tongue, teeth and nose, Kloofsuit's five fingered handpaw pattern, armsleeves, and a nub tail with belt loops. Her eyes had to be changed 2 times after this video was completed due to vision issues. The other parts were built in about 20 hours, after the completion of this video.

i managed to make my first partial. my family and friends think it looks awesome and cute (also only showed the pictures to the few teachers that i trust enough and know well, they say it looks really cute) it has a small snout (almost kemono style) and its an axolotl with cat ears. made patterns on the forehead so it would not look empty/bald

Hey hey! I have a question: does your head grow in size as you grow? I am twelve and I want to know if I can make a head that I will NEVER grow out of. Thank you for answering!

Yes, your head will grow as you do. You may also want to change your character by then

Heya! I made my first fursuit at 12 years old and nearly 8 years later, I now have over 30 fursuits under my belt. You're gonna wanna keep making fursuits since your style and quality will grow as you do, as well as your characters. I do advise for the head measurements that you give at least 1 inch of wiggle room for head circumference as you have to account for your hair and nose especially. Hi! I use a mix of a back stitch and a Henson stitch

hey! so i'm starting out myself, how do you attach the fur to the head? is there a specific method or do you sew it into the foam? sorry to bother!

I know I am not OP but I saw your comment, and as a suit maker I thought I would answer. I usually use hot glue when attaching the fur to the foam. I start from the nose and work my way back, make sure to take your time don't ever rush this part.

Heya! It's just hot glue. Take this process slow since one mistake can cost the whole project
