What i do is get the extra fur and wrap it around my neck then i mesure it to be the same size of my head and the width of the mask then i sew it on idk but im lazy do its a slip on

For those who cannot make neck: you don't necessarily NEED a neck to make the suit complete. Here's a quick thing for those who are either bad at sewing or those who are lazy: When furring, make bottom edge longer than usual and wrap it around the edge and glue to the inside of the foam head. You can wear a turtleneck shirt, scarf, or one of those fullbody lycra suits like pink guy's, or iDubbz's green c*nt suits. It will cover all skin and double as a balaclava. Works for me.

You could also use wrapping paper for presents, foil, parchment/wax paper, pretty much any thing similar to that. Personally, I wouldn’t use foil though

I have a question about fursuits. My end goal is to get a full suit, first a partial since I don't think it would be a good idea for me to spend that much money at the start on a thing I might not even be able to wear. But the thing I'm scared about if I ever got one is that I'm paying a ton of money for this, and what if I can't wear it for one reason or another, like what if I get it and I have a panic attack from like the closed space around my head or lack of air flow. Any ideas on what I should do, like I really want one, but I'm worried I might not be able to wear it and I'd have to sell it along with my character and I can not sell my character.

Crimson G-Shep this is something i worried about as well. i cant stay in my head for more than 30 minutes at a time and i also hardly wear it at all. everyone is different with their suits but if you really want it go for it. you can make a different character for your suit so its not so attached for when you want to sell it.

And before you buy anything you could always go down to Walmart or if you have one near by a bike store and try on some helmets. Like closed face helmets that motorcyclists use. That way you don't have to spend anything to test it out!

A blanket stitch. You just go through the fabric and then through your loop and repeat.

What I did was put the fursuit head on my friend, duct tape from the bottom of the head to the shoulders and around (not touching her neck) and continued duct taping the shape of neck that I wanted Then I cut the tape so my friend could get out without getting hurt and just used that as a pattern But your way is probably more precise and better for people who are by their selves

No you shouldn't use hot glue to sew, it's messy and shows seams and dries the fur

Arctic the fox I use gorrilla glue sticks which are waterproof so you have to use the wipe down method on the head. its shouldn't hurt it unless you don't get all the detergent out.
