I've never really understood the the mark scheme method for questions like Q7. I just tested that method on Mock Set 2 Question 7 and June 2022 Question 7 and I think it works far better than anything I've learned previously. Great video!

Great video - explains the method without all of the needless working which we already know how to do. The problem with these questions is always knowing what to do, not how you do it.

Great vid again, btw for Q7 im pretty sure the markscheme use the formulas: -e (u . I) = v . I and u . w = v . w which make the question much easier

I've noted that v2 is negative, so therefore v1-v2 is the same as v1+v2 if you've drawn the arrow the other way and said you're figure is positive. Just different ways to doing it

At 2:31, if v2 is negative, why is the first equation not 5v1 - 3v2 = 11v?

Since v2 is negative then if you use another minus the term will become positive again, but it shouldn't be because it's going to the left

for the last question - nobody knows about the mark schemes way of doing it bc the textbook conveniently decides to leave it out for no apparent reason It's really weird

for the last question if u do it u get values for v as either 8i + 2j and 4i + 6j. how can u know if 8i + 2j is incorrect when u can get those values for V and they work in the formula?

For question 3, what would you do if they said something other than 90 degrees. How would you do it, as you can't then use dot product=0?

I think in that case you'd probably be given more information, so the value of u, for example. Im not sure if you could do it otherwise

Why can't you do suvat for 6b? I did it suvat and I got a different answer but I don't know why - it was the same as the actual answer but the numerator was 68 instead of 8

Acceleration isn't constant. It becomes lesser or greater depending on the stretch of the spring
