on the road coffee, get a fuel can, a jetboil with french press, or any stove with a pour over, use no power, just tiny amount of fuel to boil water, have coffee in 5 minutes and ignore the battery banks and it will always be there ...i have one just for coffee purposes and emergency or backpacking meal cooking....

I'm from Mass but when I was younger me and my family traveled a lot up north through Canada, nova Scotia, pei, I know we did the Cabot trail but as a kid I didn't enjoy any of the historical places we went. Now as an adult I'd love to go back! I took a lot for granted as a kid. So awesome all these places you travel to! B safe.

The farthest north that I was in a vehicle not working in Alaska was Lake Pakashkan in Ontario. We drove two hours on a logging trail then two hours in a 10hp boat to stay at an island for a week. Everytime I saw a tree that was laying in the water I would cast a spinner and catch at least a foot and a half northern. I easily caught more northern in a week there than I have in my entire lifetime everywhere else

Also, if the timing is good. maybe you can head down through Calias and go try to have a colab with Jacob Knowles and get the Maine POV lobstering and what they have to deal with for regulations that the Canadian fisheries don't have. Jacob is a great spokesman for the Maine/ New England lobster fisheries. Just a thought.
