令和元年にはじめて知りました。先輩の｢わさ民｣の皆さんも絶賛されているが、大先輩の指導を真剣に真摯に受ける謙虚さは素晴らしい。 大先輩も可能性を高く評価されている感じがある。 カバー曲もどんどん歌うことにより新たな可能性の発見がある。中低音の発声が素晴らしい。地道な努力の積み重ねが今日ある。新曲の歌唱にも間違いなく役だっています。 18歳ですね。声にこの年頃の少女の持つ何とも形容できない爽やかで初々しさの残る感じがあらわれています。歌唱表現にも完成される前の新鮮な味わいがあり、今後続けられる歌手生活の中で、少女時代の代表的な歌唱としてこのまま残して頂きたい歴史的に貴重な作品。令和を代表する歌手になります。今の実力派の偉大な歌手でも背伸びせず純粋に少女時代の歌唱が残る人は少ない。私の知る限り歌手ではないですが高田美和｢十七才は一度だけ｣が少女時代の歌唱として印象に残ります。百恵さんは背伸びしてます。古くて申し訳ありません。

昔おニャン子にも城の内早苗という演歌歌手がいた。俺はオールナイトニッポンでわさみんにはまったんだが、彼女はすでに「AKBGで一番成功した歌手」という称号を手にしている。俺は演歌はほとんど聞かないが、八代亜紀の舟歌は好きだ。あきP, 舟歌レベルの演歌が歌えるようになるまで、わさみんをよろしく。いい姉御だった倉持が卒業してしまったが、わさみんはわさみんの道を歩いていかなければ成らない。レコ大を取れるような曲を彼女に歌わせてほしい。

A very old and traditional style of popular music from a bygone era that has been for the most part virtually forgotten by today's generation and passed over in favor of newer and more modern formats, "enka" has been mostly consigned to the older generation. That a 20-year-old idol singer from AKB48 like Misaki-san has resurrected this artform and recast it today's popular music, while under the tutelage of veteran enka stars, is nothing short amazing. Owasa Misaki-san is truly amazing!

My heart melts every time I listen to this beautiful song. Iwasa Misaki-san is a revelation among young Enka singers. Even my old mum like her and we voted together the little Misaki-chan during the Senbatsu Sousenkyou 2013. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much Misaki-chan.

I think Iwasa Misaki trying to establish herself as a new, very young, singer in the enka world necessarily puts on the kimono to start with...though this is the first time we see her wearing another dress as well...so she is gradually following a more relaxed path. She needs to appeal to a number of audiences...some favouring the more formal and respectful approach and others...the idol world fans....something more casual. AND she looks really good in that dress. She is singing very well now!!

Must add that I am super super impressed with Wasamin with what I have heard of this her first album due out soon, and her singing PRIDE live on TV the other week. She is progressing to another level...and with her Kita no Yado Kara has extended her singing range. Perfect example of somebody having a goal, making the choices for it...putting in, then achieving it. 3 years ago she was nowhere..saying her desire was to sing on stage in front of a large audience. Mission Accomplished.

I think what Baku ment to say was, Enka is traditionally sung with a Kimono on, thus the "Staple" and "hardly overkill" statement. Most Japanese traditional art and music, traditional formal wear is the basics. You have to also remember that this is a MV, some real-life drama shots help improve the comprehension of the song sung.

Wasamin's enka style as it were is contained to simple vibrato variations and suits all the songs she has sung so far, and especially appropriate to the covers she is now doing. And in trying to get younger people interested in this other world of ballad, enka music...producing stuff in strong voice and strong enka style will certainly turn them off. She should stick to a style suited to her voice as it now is...which is medium youthful. It isn't weak ,we have heard her do strong voices b4

Don't mix up singing enka and singing in enka style. Its a very broad category now. One of the great enka singers hardly sang in the enka style at all, and did not have a strong voice as some of the heavy enka singers do. Teresa Teng greatly loved in Japan, Taiwan and China had a medium-light voice - but considered one of the greats, and sold over 100 albums under the enka category. Enka singers sing anything, and most often simply ballad music and often not in enka style singing.
