what I love the most about this art style is they are so small with interesting proportions like those huge hands. Winning detail is we have version when they finally have beaks :) I'm so happy about that little detail... anyone who owns a real turtle knows how sharp their beaks are so this facial execution is absolutely perfect for me, plus smaller size will nicely fit into my s.h.figuarts anime collection

"Size matters not", to quote a certain green famous powerful space frogling of similar amphibious famial connections. In the original comics the TMNT were little guys. The 7 foot tall permutations, I believe, started with the movies bc of sfx limitations with short actors in turtle suits. Furay has excellent concepts. I await several pre-oders from them. I'm on the fence about these samurai. Thanks for the awesome review and kitbash tutorial, Sir. You've almost pushed me off the fence! Lol I'll keep a tight kungfu stance for now though. See, I only want 1 set of TMNT. The old Nickelodeon figures I have are perfect 4" scale for my collection, while I do subscribe to the multiverse theory as in order to make occasional exceptions. You really make me want to get these figures, though I'm trying to hold back these days due to over saturation of too much awesome stuff coming out and the increase in prices which makes it harder to collect everything. A buddy showed me the Spring figure and it also surprised me at how small it was, but it definitely is a cool ass figure! Your customs look legit and tripped me out as I thought you got a secret early set of the rest of the turtles! You did an amazing job on them. Maybe dull down the gloss on the Mikey orange with a dull cote someday or do a slight black wash with a flat black perhaps to flatten the gloss and bring out some details in the crevices? Also loved the anime ending! Your editing is damned cool and I wish I knew how to to all that for my boring videos..! Maybe someday... LOL! Keep them coming, bro! And have a Happy New Year!

Yo, I love your channel and congrats on the NERDY. I got my Not-ninja turtle from 5kToys as soon as it came back, it was sold out when. I first saw it. I had the same impression when I saw this washed out box. I thought I got got. My first impression when I opened it was “Damn he is so small but then I thought about it, it is damn comic accurate because compared to a 1/12 scale shredder from the original comic run the size is perfect! I was so happy with the accessories and the extra box with the swords. I love this figure and when I saw what you did with the customs I hope that the Haslab crybabies decide they do not want this figure because of the size and that will leave more for me and those who are grabbing up the FurRay planet and executive collectibles because these third party figures are so freaking on point. I got the white wolf and the red demon and holy hell these are amazing figures at decent prices. Great review as usual and I am so glad your channel is growing because you are another creator like Dave Displays that I can say “II was there since the beginning”. Keep up the great work. I mean, depending on where you look, the Turtles canon height is 3, 4, 5 inches. they're short. They're turtles, and they're teenagers. I think they scale "APPROPRIATELY" with 6 inch figures. Lol That ending though!

I was slightly disappointed that it was just 3 more "Spring" being modded and repainted. I thought you had the inside-hook up and was able to get the other releases. With that said, excellent video. I really hope people buy these ASAP. The discourse sounding the sizing of these guys is going to make people regret not purchasing them in the years to come when they are sold out going for absurd prices. Leo was going for $150+ after it initially sold out. The scale doesn't bother me, in fact the smaller size makes it great for my 1/18 collection. They scale very nice next to Joy Toy Warhammer figures. Lastly, fantastic video with the custom mods and comparisons. I made sure to order a second Leo from 5K Toys.

1/12th scale isn't 6 inches though. 1/12 scale is 1 inch per every 12 inches. This means that figures can range in size based on the character portrayal, including humans. You mostly collect 6 inch size, not 1/12th scale, because if you did collect mostly 1/12 scale, it wouldn't matter what size the figure is as long as it was accurate to the portrayal. That means human characters wouldn't be the same size either, as not all humans are 6 feet tall. True 1/12th scale is also smaller than what most collectors view as 1/12th. 6 inches in not a scale, it is a size/measurement. 1/24th, 1/18th, 1/12th, 1/9th, 1/6th, 1/4th, 1/2th, and more are scales. 4 inch, 6 inch, 7 inch, 8inch, and so are all sizes. These turtles are technically 1/12th scale, as they match one of the comic turtle versions, that were around 5 feet tall.
