See everyone always focuses on Negreanu’s party trick of guessing hands and they claim that’s what makes him an amazing player. But this game is what makes him an amazing player. A tough odd ball hard to read opponent that takes down a lot of people for his awkward style of play. Fishing for probable hands or blind guessing opponents hands anyone can do to find a tell when you guess right. But to adapt your game to match or beat the person across from you at any time we’ll is what separates the common player from the greats. This was an excellent perfectly played heads up game. Basically you want to have combos with your cards. There is different kinds of combos and the strongest combo wins. But how do you know if the other guy has better cards than you do ? You cant know. The kid often bluffed Negranu and it usually worked. At the end he tried bluffing negranu by going all in (so he has a weak hand, but goes all in. Hes bluffing that he has an amazing hand) and Negranu instantly does the same. And to me the beauty of this is almost as if Negranu was letting him win with the bluffs earlier just to bait him to make a risky bluff. Whenever the kid bluffes, Negranu would laugh it off and fold. But not now. :) I would have cried myself to sleep for a good week or two if that happened to me.

Danny puts on the puzzled look, but actually knows much more than he exhibits. Viewed him call 4 consecutive hands, 2 hole cards, including the suit within each hole card. One particular hand an opposing player had 7-spades, 8-spades suited hole cards. Danny initially mentions i feel you have 7-8, short pause, then mentions 7-spades, 8-spades. Opposing player had exact hole cards danny predicted. Not a one hit just lucky call, due to dannys extreme consistency within this trait.

@@Heopful Nah, he's also thinking ahead. He knows he has a hyper aggressive player, he cant even guarantee that a re-raise against a low pair will get him to fold. He lets Dario get nothing on a 7-7 that goes trips, yet extracts a 2:1 advantage off his own A-A...and in the process, talks up Dario like a genius for making him check the river.

Nobody who flops a flush would make it obvious. If anything, DN probably took the check on the turn as possibly deceptive play rather than representative of a flush draw, hence the ensuing check on the river. My opinion.

I must admit, his aggresiveness is good. Although he was losing with his stupid hands, I like aggresive players. Overall good game. Tips for absolute beginners: Play, learn your style and what works for you. Fold 27. Don't play stupid hands (things like Q2, K3, A10, J4 offsuit) Low chance to make a straight, good kicker but low pair, good pair but bad kicker. Because these hands are reliant on the flop, if you get AA but have a 10 kicker, you have a mediocre kicker with a good hand(vice versa with 33, etc.)If you don't pair on the flop, fold. It's not worth it. You'll just get money sucked. Keep playing and practicing!

KZbin algorithms must be created by a genius. I’m convinced. The first video recommended to me. And now I’m legit watching this guys videos. I don’t even know how to play poker.

For those who don't know Daniel uses comedy to assess how at ease the other player is with their hand.

Daniel Negreanu is the same simple down to earth guy even though he's achieved success and fame for several years. Must be a Canadian thing eh?

A big thing is not letting your opponent learn how u play. U need to be kinda tactically erratic. And with somebody like him u have the balls to call his bluffs

I love watching Daniel play poker, but man I cringe at the way he bends the cards when he looks....
@GuruR975 жыл бұрын
At this level, the cards are usually Kem cards, which are 100% plastic. They can withstand being bent like that and retain shape. They are not regular bicycle paper cards

GuruR97 lol I understand that, “at this level”...shit we play with plastic cards in the garage game on weekends..., and it is totally irrelevant...

@@TheFrogfeeder Lol I hear ya! In the same boat as you. From my personal experience, I went through a deck of bicycle cards every month or so from cards being bent, drinks spilled (beer) or just plain lost cards. I bought 2 decks of Copag, and they're still going strong 5 months later! It was about $15 for 2 decks, but them being washable and durable really saves $ in the long run.
