To me this is the most heartbreaking death in the series, yes the gravitas was much more there with Nuriko cause his character fully developed... Chiriko did develop in the manga but sadly not in the anime, but the way he sacrifices him self, his age and how it was executed was just heartbreaking

Why are the Seiryu so over powered? It literally takes all of the Suzaku warriors to take down a single Seiryu warrior. They have all these bullshit tricks up their sleeves, and two of them apparently get reborn after death. Nakago can go through walls now (seen in last episode), and can make everybody powerless just by his will. It's ridiculous... Would've been less frustrating and more exciting to see some one-on-one battles between Seiryu and Suzaku warriors instead of watching them all get their asses whooped again and again by one Seiryu dickhead.

Because Suzaku is the thord least powerful of the 4 Gods. The order of the power is Genbu, Seriyuu, Suzaku and Byakko. Byakko warriors probably were the least powerful. Nakago admitted that he was not equipped to challenge the might of Genbu warriors.

I cried over nuriko's death because of how much she's involve in the first half of thr series. He got strong character development. Chiriko on the other hand have few screen time and slow character development, but dude I cried a lot because, come to think of it,he's still a kid. :( But I cried the most when tamahome's family got killed.
