thanks for your explanations, it will be nice to see how hypoid pair (not helical bevel) being created (that hypoid used in car rear ends) in addition will be nice to see how to model it having real pair on hands to make exact copy, what should be counted and where thanks in advance!

Could you give some insight into how you rendered this? It looks really good.

I should do a video on my workflow... Lots of people ask about that. I export the CAD as a 3mf file and then import into Blender (free and open source animation and modeling tool). I create the textures, environment lighting and animation in Blender. Blender also does video editing, so I use it also for producing the final video file for you tube. Fusion is much better for modeling, but Blender shines for that other stuff.

@@bzig4929 Thank you for the reply. I will try this. Keep up your videos.

how to proof they are match as conjugate ?
@bzig49299 ай бұрын
I did that visually with a section analysis. But I realize that isn't mathmatically rigorous. I used to be good at proofs, then I became an engineer and now I just randomly blurt out "small angle approximation" 🙂

@@bzig4929 yes,right, approximation conjugate, but recently, i will use cnc simulate software to real cut a such gears, have a see the contact line each other. just need to think how to cut it by generation.
