Would you recommend the fusion over something like a Holmes puller pro for crawling?
@2007CHANCHO2 жыл бұрын
I do. You won’t believe the control. No more pulling the trigger more more more till you rocket over the obstacle. Just pull it to speed you want and it will feed the power itself keeping the wheel speed constant

I really like the fusion systems. I just wanted something faster than the 1800kv. I'm glad it's available now

Love these fusion motors I've got one of the older ones in a full metal caged crawler/mud bogger that has no space for an esc but have always felt it needed more wheel speed now with this new 2200kv I think I can get this and at a price that won't brake the bank keep up the good work

Lately I've been curious to get into a comp style truck. Can you do a review of each of yours with details, pros and cons, what you prefer for what, lists of parts, etc...? It's a hard world to decipher into what to buy.
@remihache22192 жыл бұрын
very nice. I was not sure about fusion 1st gen. But I think I'll try the fusion pro on my next build. Vanquish phoenix :). You should try it in your phoenix for the next vehicle tryout with the fusion.

More top speed over the stock motors, like the stock TRX 4 brushed?

Since the new Pro is 6mm shorter, it should fit much easier into a Capra, or am I mistaken? What brushed motor would you recommend for the Capra in combination with the HW1080? Cheers!

I love that slow startup compared to the axe.

OK, I'm getting one!!! Love my 1800kv version. 2300kv just kicks it up a notch. QUESTION: Do I need to purchase HW's optional programing card/box or can I use the ones from my 1080 or 1800kv???
@auggysimcity2 жыл бұрын
you can use the one from the 1800, though you will be missing out on 4 new programming capabilities. new pro fusion is cheap, due to the fact the card is a seperate purchase.

$149.99 is a-lot of money for a lot of people. Is it 'Plug-n-Play' or Is soldering necessary? My living situation does not lend itself to 'soldering', and I don't even own a soldering iron or appurtenances. If I'm going to consider paying 5 x's the price of a popular 'Brushed' motor these questions should be answered forthwith.
@rc-daily2 жыл бұрын
You can get a cheap soldering iron for under 5 bucks that comes with a tube of solder. There's absolutely no excuse not to be able to swap a battery plug. However, I believe they come with xt60s battery plugs. If that isn't your plug of choice lots of guys on ebay sell them with whatever plug you want. Gas stations often carry propane powered soldering irons too. You don't even need electricity to use one of them.
@rc-daily2 жыл бұрын
Also, a brushless system will last indefinitely. The cheap brushed systems you're talking about are throw away motors. Once you get away from them and onto brushless you won't go back. Unless you buy like a Holmes hobbies brxl and magnum motor.

- This (proves) that the "2300" - "Kv"... IS THE MAGIC - "Kv Rating" (#) !!!!! ...for crawlers, for RC people who want **"The BEST of BOTH WORLDS"** - Like the AXE 2300Kv that came in the REDCAT GEN 8 "Axe Edition"... this is pretty-much based upon that Axe 2300Kv Motor !!!! 👍 This "is how" to - "DO BUSINESS" with the regular RC people, in a world of businessmen... ..."WHO LISTEN" !!!!! - WELL DONE HOBBYWING !!!!!!! BEST MOTOR, "YET". 👌 ...😉 I have the 1800Kv, now I just NEED that [2300Kv] H.W. (FOC) Motor. 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁💪🇺🇸
