Glad more cut for time sketches are finally being uploaded. I hope we get a few more. Thanks. This had a nice throwback feel to '70s or '80s SNL. Nah. Not in Asian families. They always find someone better. "Oh you are a doctor? But not a surgeon? Oh okay a surgeon, but why not a brain surgeon?" "He's a lawyer. Too bad not in Supreme Court." "Im proud of your med degree but you know Aunt Baby's kid, she's studying to be an astronaut." Lol Especially with parents who are highly educated. Asian parents who are working class might be happy with a doctor kid, but those with more degrees want more. Sometimes, scientists trump medical doctors because "MDs practice knwon knowledge, Phds bring new knowledge."

Sarah sherman basically took on kate mckinnon role of playing old women and crazy characters and this just shows how snl is always existing no matter who is the cast which is at the same time hopefull and kinda makes it lose essence

SNL has always been like that (having newer cast members take on the character roles and, sometimes, celebrity impressions of the previous one). Sometimes it goes well and sometimes it doesn't.

How on EARTH did this get cut??? Also, the soccer thing has a funny extra layer to it because I just watched an old podcast with Marcello and apparently he was actually a really good soccer player. He went to college on a soccer scholarship and possibly could have played professionally before he decided to focus on comedy instead.

@Why do you try? This IS a live sketch (or it would have been if it hadn’t been cut at dress rehearsal), while two non-live sketches were ultimately included in the final show. Lizzo sang two songs, the exact same amount of songs a musical guest always sings on SNL.
