Would meta-cooler count as a cooler to make "we are cooler squadron" pop off since zarbon is able to grab a gloden frieza and mecha frieza, even though it just states frieza?

It would not. Zarbon states "including Frieza in its name" versus squadron looking for a Cooler specifically. In that sense meta-cooler may as well be a different character.

Naw in DBS it's really not that impactful. We've had this style of card for a long time in Masters and the only time it did anything was to feed into an extra turn deck
