I briefly worked at a BMW dealer just out of high school in 1974. One day Kenny Loggins showed up with another fellow, asking about a very expensive top of the line vehicle. The salesman was very rude and basically said get out of here you stupid hippy. KL returned a week later to purchase some accessories with that exact model purchased elsewhere. We all watched the salesman get fired on the spot by the sales manager once he was informed about his rude behavior and the lost sale. 😂😂😂

I was lucky enough to be in a club called Mother Blues in Dallas Texas one night, when Robert and John came in. Robert was there to pick up groupies and he walked right into me as I stood right in his way…..Never forget that night.

Didn’t know about the apparent connection between Rock drummers and Jensens 😮! In Bonham’s case, it makes sense because he grew up so near the factory (I always liked the Interceptor IIIs 🙂). Did JB also own one of the “factory” right hand drive Daytona Spyders? The GTB pictured is beautiful, and a near ringer for Ruchard Carpenter’s (Bonham’s has the plexi front end, which wasn’t legal in the States because the headlights weren’t far enough off the ground ), but “The Magnificent Seven” are all GTSs (Spyder / convertible). I think all seven still exist - Nick Mason may have one of them.
