It’s 2021 and I think I’ve watched this a few times around the time I was in middle school (2011-2015) oh man this is such a throw back too when I played MMBN5 just for fun until I was slowly realizing that there was so much more you could do and so on. Such a great game that I recently completed both Team Colonel and Team ProtoMan. Next up is Double Team. But man I love this video!

I think that the Battle Network games would be so much better on the 3DS, it has a much more similar control style to the Gameboy than the Wii U does. I wonder why they didnt just put them on both, they would have flat out made more money that way.

Nope, Style changes were a mechanic in BN2+3 only. There are aqua based transformations in BN4-6, but not the one you're familiar with

BN5 will forever live on in my heart as the close of my 7th grade was comprised of the fierce netbattles in science class with friends...still a time where we thought Guardian was the best chip ...thanks BN5, you've always got a special place with me. :')

I didn't actually input the codes myself. I downloaded a save file for all of the games so I could record without having to play though the games all over again. The codes were already in used with the save files.

A good way the S-rank HeatManSp is to use lots of TrainArrow Chips with chip boosters. IceSeeds also help to keep in place but there aren't needed. Just try hit with a TrainArrow, get FullSynchro, then boost up your next TrainArrow. Rinse and Repeat. He should be dead within seconds. An "M" coded folder should work good. TrainArrows 2&3 come in M. Also be sure to have a FullCust and FastGauge in your folder. IF you don't have Fastgauge * it's OK because it comes in M as well. Good Luck!

I found BN 5 to be such a breath of fresh air after 4. It was nowhere near as tight an experience as 3, but I think it levels if not slightly nudges past 2 in the overall fun value. I had ProtoMan version and the souls were an absolute blast.

I agree so very much. However, I felt 5 and 6 were pretty equal for me. The folder building was restricted so much with the new rules but the storylines were at least better than MMBN4's random tournament scenarios.

Okay for everyone who doesn't know how to get bass cross its simple. After you got your entire team, and beat all of them in their final form, omega, and killed your dark side, go to the 4th battle you fought and bass should appear their. You have to beat him, then you get his form. If you lucky you get the sliver form, able to use bass dark ring thingy. If this didn't happen to you, you problely didn't all the things I told you to.

5 was pretty good it was challenging somewhat... I remember when me and my good friend were like which version should we both get so I thought protoman because you know hes popular and he's like Megaman's rival/friend but until we got Protoman Colonel looked ten times cooler XD. Whats good about this game is that both versions got packed in the DS version that was the best and it was the first time ever that its happened in the MMBN series. Thats one of the reasons that made this game good.

@Jerkey321 its probably not about the souls dude , but about the storyline mmbn4 was having fun moments ( tournaments , soul unison navis mission , etc ) the only evil thing in it was nebula only , MMBN5 is a diffrent story nebula discovered itself and everything was evil the story-line was porbably serious and so evil the gameplay is full of dark times and liberation missions and yes u r right 3 is the best thanks for the video , fusion :)

bass cross and chaos lord can be acessed by only 2 ways.. 1.find a way to cheat in the gba version of mmbn5 ToC/ToP 2.buy the ds copy. for bass cross buy a mmbn5 copy(any version) beat bass xx i think dont remenber which version give his icon on the main menu but w/e. once you get it put it in the ds and it will give you a option to play with bass cross. for chaos lord giga chip just look for the numberman code in gamefaqs.

I've beaten the game, S ranked all of the navis under 11 sec, standard complete, mega complete, beat BassSP, ProtoManFZ, and I'm about to start fightin RV navis.

I actually got really lucky on the chips that came up. I had NumbrOpn NCP on. Turn 1 use Reflector3 in the front row when he used his CrossSlash to get FullSynchro, then I used DoublePoint (Regular Chip) SuperVulcan with Attack+30 with WhitePill then FullCust (Unbelieveable right?). Turn 2 (in EraseCross) I used EraseMan * then MachGun3. Dead in 00:07:06! I could believe it myself. I doubt I'll ever be able to do that again.

In BN2 you can get and store up 2 styles, bn3 you can't, in bn2 you can trade styles with your friends to make your game progression diferent or prove something different, in bn3 you can´t, in Bn4 you can fight all bosses regardless the version, in bn3 you can't, in bn2 you can gain points for a new style AND level up your's current styles, in bn3 you can't. Not mention that the game will confuse "user more chips" with "increasing defenses" or "using invis" and you will get the wrong style.

It's available for the DS, I got it myself. You have to have a completed save file of MMBN 5 for the GBA and have it slotted in your DS when you play MMBN 5 Double Team. Depending which GBA game you slot in (Colonel or Protoman) You get either gold or silver bass cross fusion. Personally I prefer silver BCF. Also you can get SOL cross fusion if you have Botokai 1, 2 or 3 (1 or 2 if you have the UK version as 3 doesn't not exist for the UK.)

The Game he uses previously had a save that had E-Reader data, giving him BassCross, and 9999 Hp. The only cheat he used was being able to use any chips at the same turn.

@MegaPichu1 i know that much, but once it starts flashing i can't seem to release it correctly. i have seen the gba version's and the dss' version and in my opinion, the ds version is harder to time because the flashes are more chaotic. (if you ask me). i think i read somewhere that getitng the timing right is easy if you release right when its fully charged.

(also, i think now that it was liberation 8, but whatever.)

wow ur good. i can never get the chaosunison pwrattck timing correct.... no matter how many times i try. but i have a question. you know the seventh liberation mission? the first one in the undernet-nebula areas? when i try the last dark hole, i have to defeat a bunch of virusses, as usual.... but the door-ish virus. the blue one. can anyone gimme some tips on how to defeat it and the others in 3 turns? its HARD for me and i cant find a good solution.... thanks in advance :D

The Choas Lord chip can only be gotten by using a cheat device. Same with Bass Cross Megaman.
