I feel like its mainly because of his technique, normally the player would be on their last task and the imposter would immediately come at them and the player wouldn't have two short tasks near eachother, so the snitch would get killed.

Big brain play: this will only be possible when you're on a modded round with a sheriff and the sheriff reveals who they are in a meeting (and if you're imposter). then you act like you're kind of suspicious of them but don't say why. For example "oh sure so your sheriff?". Then they might be a bit confused but just don't sound like you're too suspicious of them because then they might turn on you and say you're imposter. After the meeting just follow them and then when you get to a spot where preferably at least one or more people are around, then you can kill the sheriff. This way, people will have seen you and assume that what you say in the next meeting is true. So right after you kill report the body. And then you can say "okay guys, when [insert name here] said that they were the sheriff last round I was really sus of them because I'm the sheriff. So I followed them this round and once my cooldown was up I pressed the sheriff kill button and I was right, they were imposter and now they're dead." And this should work because if you were imposter why would you kill in front of other people, and you already suss them out a bit at the end of the last round so your story checks out. for this to work you have to be most sincere about it and try your best not to tell any actual lies if you're bad at lying. (And the type of thing at the very beginning, like the way that you speak when you're suspicious of them should almost be the way that toast would speak when he catches someone pretending to be sheriff or pretending to be someone that he is. because obviously toast wouldn't call them out on it he would go figure it out for himself because you know that's the type of stuff he does).

Bretman is jester in that last round because he said he can't kill girls and later died outside of meetings. That meant he isn't impostor because sheriff (Leslie) didn't kill him. But if he isn't impostor he wouldn't have said anything about killing unless if he wants other people to think he is impostor, which makes him the jester.
