Generally, I've noticed it's somewhat easy to see which direction it's going before it's shot. Go into the tutorials and watch how weird the run up is with smaller-medium sized right footed when they shoot left vs right. I've noticed it's easier to hide this if you hold right trigger to sprint the run up.

like this so harry can see it please !! penalty tips (im no pro but penalties are my speciality) if your opponents keeper is moving most likely he will end up diving if so go middle and slightly left with 2 bars power. if not then try aim for top right on your first shot and the go middle left or middle right every other shot at 2 bars power. also while saving if your opponent shoots under 2 bars always stay in the middle if not go left for first shot and pick a side for every other shot. hope this helps :) love the content

Penalties. Basically you have to start your run up before you press the shoot button, but as soon as you begin your run up you can press shoot, but your player doesn't shoot u til he gets close enough to the ball, so my advice is you shoot when you start running up to the ball or as soon as you can so you can place your penalties into the corner of the goal, the more the power on the bar, the more height on the shot, your welcome x

Tip for pens...aim down the middle and then move to the edges so that they cannot know where you are putting it until you have put it... and then if you want to put it down the middle bang it straight into the top netting so even if they stay down the middle then they will still not save it 9/10

Harry if you want a pen that cannot be saved than all you need to do is have maximum 1.5 power on the shot and then just place the ball a bit left or right from the middle. It always goes in bcs the goalie has dived and the ball will go right behind him.
