It's actually really hard to defend against this press if the gameplay is not perfect. It doesn't matter if you are a good player because your player taking forever to take a touch limits your options and shortens the time you need to make a decision. Problem with fifa is that you dont get punished for abusing pressure tactics. Make stamina drain 100%more while using any pressure. All this stupid patches to make pressure less effective were useless. Ppl still use it, still abuse it. I griddy every 1st minute pressure abusers idc 😂 they deserved it

You need to be patient when you get pressured by this type of pressure tactic, but Nick wasnt, so he got caught

But without it you will not punish the players who hold the ball for 80 minutes passing around the back. You need pressing tactics to counter that style. And if pressing is too negative, then people will pass round the back to drain stamina and then pace abuse.

If everyone abuse 1 tactic you should nerf it or at least create something to counter it. So far 35% more stamina drain doesnt work at all. I still play constant or pressure after possesion loss players who have half of stamina bar at 90th min, it shouldnt be like this. Im not taking about completely nerfing pressure, im taking about making it balanced so players cant abuse it since 1st minute

@@jacknorice5212 there is always going to be a meta, name one competitive game that doesn’t have a strong/op gun, tactic, playstyle etc. Sadly it is impossible to get a perfect balance, particularly in a game like fifa that has a player base that have played for at least 4+ years and therefore are at a games natural skill ceiling. The sad fact is Fifa has been around too long, the average player now will have at least 1K+ hours across titles and therefore the average skill is incredibly high. So when people want to win they have to turn to what is strong in this cycle. Same thing happened to COD, Battlefield, Fortnite, even less competitive games such as DBD suffer the same issues.

This game just has a weird feeling to it. Some games you can just feel the game doesn’t want you to win. Your players don’t make runs, the passing is not as precise, defense feels off, you can’t even switch to the players you want idk how lol. I feel like most games are scripted. I’ve played like 1k FUT games this year and trust me I can tell when some animations feel off just that one time the game just doesn’t want you to win.

And the most obvious one is.. I’ve played the same guy two times in a row. if I win the first game, he gets all the animations on his favor the second game and beats you. If he wins the first game, now your players feel incredible in the second game lol. Why is it like that??? In a mode where you need a bunch of back to back wins and trying to get 20-0 in fut champs.. why is the game so controllable by the algorithm and its animations? The game literally controls who wins bro. Because at this point most players are good and there’s no casuals.. everything depends on the animations that the game wants you to have. Games feel awfully scripted. Shouldn’t be like that.

I went from elite to div 6 just to have fun with non meta squads and dont stress in friendly cups. I actually started to enjoy fifa since this move. Sometimes it doesnt help though, I kept facing elite div players (I asked them in pm after match) I guess matchmaking couldnt find any other opponent. matchmaking aint the problem. Getting placed against others equally skilled is fine with me the constant pressure tactic many use is the case. If people want easy wins and really not play the game there is always squad battles. Having matchmaking is fair if done right, not sure if ea are doing it right it is ea. Some people who "play" this game are so weird, like the hackers that use ai teams to play for them. Why? makes no sense to me to use a computer to play the game for you, id rather control the play myself and actually play the game. Ea make it very hard to do so, will prob switch to PES.
