He is High High, so he plays as a box to box, he’s best paired in a double CDM set up, or set him to stay back while attacking, stay on edge of box, cover center deep lying playmaker. He’ll still go up, but he’ll focus more on playing in the back. Hope this helps

Alonso is better obviously in general, but if u don't mind a little clunky 3* skill striker go for rooney, I got 29 goals 13 assists in 20 FC matches with him. He can keep the ball and has nice defending for a striker so he gets the ball more often. And shooting is insane, especially if u green shots
