FUT Post Operative Care

Thanks Dr David for nicely explaining healing process and care to be taken post FUT procedure. I am on 28th days post FUT procedure. Though the pain has drastically reduced over the last 28 days but I still find it difficult to sleep without neck pillow. Also, small area around the two ends of the stitches give pain on touching. My stitches still has not been removed and I'm clueless as where to go for it's removal. Thanks again for pointing out that it's quite normal if complete shedding of transplanted hair happens after after 2nd week -3rd week onward. Is it okk to get my stitches removed at any Hospital or I should be getting it removed through Dr who did the transplant? Besides, my hair transplant Clinic is quite far (different City) from my location.

Great video! I am a month out from my FUT procedure. The area above my scar is sill a bit swollen and hard. Will this subside, and is this normal?

Sorry for the late reply. I am sure that the area above your scar has improved greatly. This is all a normal part of the healing process. At this point, your scar should have healed nicely.
