@@aceelysium7898 they in fact started implementing sbmm in black ops 2. It was a big deal back then but the matchmaking still depended heavily on ping. Over the years lag started becoming less of an issue so they buffed the sbmm up slowly. Until Advanced Warfare came along with reverse boosted accounts, because the sbmm was unbearable. I remember AW being the first game i gave up on pubs and only played the ranked playlist
