"Don Martin III went Kaflooey" is another joke in there I know some people miss. Don Martin drew comics for MAD magazine that had characters with exaggerated characteristics such as large feet and noses, and used onomatopoeia like "Kaflooey" or "sprigoing"

as an opera singer myself I have to say Robot Devil is wrong, we announce our feelings to the audience ALL THE TIME, shit half the run time of most well-known operas is each individual character spending 5+ minutes telling the audience exactly how they feel and what they are going to do about it

Just some random fact: I had the puny human joke (4:26) playing in my head for a while, but couldn't remember who made that line. I first thought it was Lurr, then remembered it was Morbo and realized they are voiced by the same person. After watching the scene I searched for confirmation and yup! Maurice LeMarche. He has an interesting list of previous jobs, like Inspector Gadget, Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain. That's cool.

its funny how the first guy thinks time is cyclical and fry says “nope straight line” but the professor fry a d bender end up in a time machine and go to the end of the universe and it all happens again to the point they have to go around again because bender pushed them out of spite
