As someone who's evil step dad watched "next generation" I know for a fact this isn't a lower budget version. The real start track is bunch of nerds that always in the same room pretending to be on computers and fully fully boring. Never once does it seem like they're on a other planet. Just seems like they're on a tiny tiny set anytime they're not in that "bridge" room or whatever. It's the worst. This seemed watchable.

Quick question about doing something like this - are you driving all the prompts with input images (for each character), or relying entirely on MJ knowing what to make from text prompts including the character name? I've seen dozens of similarly fantastic Midjourney recreations of show/film scenes, but never seen anyone note if they're ever using images to inform the prompt.

Personally I use a reference image and sometimes several images. It should be possible to do just that with the prompt, but then you have to give a lot more details. Here is an example of prompt for Zoidberg "dvd screengrab from 1980s dark fantasy movie, doctor zoidberg from futurama in armor, movie, in real life, realism, hyperrealism, photorealistic::5 --ar 3:2" and for the reference image I used, I did some research to find one that can be useful. Often the easiest is a cosplay image. I hope that I could enlighten you a bit more 😁
