I subscribed, good stuff guys. I had actually seen your first video a few months ago when you watched airplane. I'm gonna stick around for the Futurama reactions though. It's a great show. I remember statying up late to watch it on TV when I was a little kid. I didn't get all the jokes then but I sure do now 😄

6:31 Talk about obscure references! "Craterface" getting the bottle jammed in his eye is based on an iconic shot from George Melies' fanciful silent movie _A Trip to the Moon,_ (1902!) in which the first space shot is literally a giant bullet which hits the Man in the Moon right in the eye.

The writers are some very funny and very smart folks. They like to throw in some quite nerdy jokes which are great. A particular example from this episode is that the Apollo module wouldn’t still be there because it’s how the astronauts returned to Earth. So inside it, they put a plaque that says “Returned Here By The Historical Sticklers Society.” 😆
