4:49 The confession of "I'm an addict and I can't even hide it" right into the assonance of "Don't you panic, panoramic companion", followed shortly after "I'm taking everything that come with these millions, I'm taking everything that come with my children..." sung over a beautiful melody, trailing off as if he's desperate, uncertain, or weary. Then he goes into the final chorus, and sounds so defeated by his demons and resigned to his fate that it breaks my heart. Future is a GOAT imo

cause this foo says a too much bullshit. cnt even understand this barboso.
I was a drug addict for this past decade in its entirety, started when I was 15 and just stopped recently, I’m 27 now. I wanted to be high 24/7 and felt like it was the only way to be alive, I used to hate sobriety and the mindset of sober drug hating people in general, I felt like it made me better and unlocked my true potential when I was high, as well as helping me overcome my shortcomings and shit I went through growing up. I was high 24/7 literally, weed, cough syrup, ketamine, acid, shrooms, nitrous, gasoline, literally anything I could get my hands on. Eventually I came to an epiphany, an realized I didn’t need the drugs, and when I did use them, they turned on me, the highs got less high, and the negative effects got worse, eventually my body rejected every substance, from actual drugs to weed to caffeine and alcohol. now I still have occasional cravings, and struggle with intense anxiety, as well as the reality of a life that has never been truly stable, but I am clean and am slowly lifting myself up, this time by myself. 2020 decade is going to be better

How it feels to get high of gasoline? Is it like nitrous?
@lysssky25 жыл бұрын
Wojciech Tomaszewski pretty similar in some ways, short effect, euphoric at first, spacy and intensely dissociating when it hits you hard, if you keep huffing it. difference is gasoline causes more dizzyness and headaches or other unpleasant effects, and the hallucinations tend to be wackier in nature, the nitrous is more in your head and more like dxm or ketamine in its dissociative effects. BOTH ARE HARMFUL! gasoline always kills brain cells on a high and can dumb you fast if abused. nitrous is less harmful to brain cells but severely depletes vitamin B12 levels which causes permanent nerve damage with frequent use.

It’s very heartwarming and mind blowing how we were all in similar circumstances listening to this song, years later we all have gone down unique paths in life. One thing for sure regardless of whether things have gone good or bad, we still bump this song & many other classics Future has blessed us with.
@joshs3991 Жыл бұрын
A few years ago I was listening to this song with a newish friend for the first time. A decent ways into the song, out of the comfortable silence, on queue, we both simultaneously yelled "pour it out, pour it out, pour it out" and then impulsively looked at each other grinning. We were immediately bonded and made some great memories for a couple of years. I will always remember that moment....I get if people think it's corny, but it was special, and it doesn't happen with just anyone. I love when music brings people together because of the exact context you describe.

This use to be my hype song when I'd get in the car. Now it makes me cry most of the time bc it's just so darn good, you almost relate to the song automatically without knowing the lyrics.
