@@Azog150 Dan Meis’ original concepts had way more brick, but they had issue as the amount of brick they could repurpose from the docks was a lot lower than they planned; they didn’t want a lot of brick that wasn’t re purposed.

Sheffield United haven't been at Bramall Lane since 1855. It's true that it's the oldest stadium in the world to continuously host PROFESSIONAL football, but Sheffield United weren't formed until 1889. Prior to that even Sheffield Wednesday played there for a spell before moving to the other side of the city. Sheffield United have stated that their ground expansion has been put on indefinite hold, until they attain Premier League status, AND HOLD ON TO IT.

No bias but The City Ground expansion is my favourite of the proposals. Still keeps that traditional feeling to the ground while a lot of the others don’t. Optimistic pie-in--the-sky..expansions.If three of them get going that will be good. New English stadiums have been of the bowl-type for the last 20 years so some inventive designs are welcome.Unfortunately the financial and playing status of the teams decide if they go ahead. Only Luton is the team that definitely need a new ground. The current one has been out-of-date and too small for 40 years...at least.
