As a kid all of this went over my head but watching this back as an adult I’m shocked they dropped major plot lines about wizards exposing magic and Mason breaking up with Alex before we even know who Mason is. Props to the writers

5:58 - I noticed that now as an adult. They always said "gosh." I really thought the Alex line: "Oh my gosh. What are you doing?" when Mason confessed his love for Juliet really required a "god." That whole thing was so intense and so shocking that I wish she could have said "Oh my god."

24:59 I think Brenda Song as London Tipton is a pretty unique kind of "dumb" character, because unlike most "stupid" characters, London is not nice at all lol. So sometimes when she says certain things about people, it's like is she just being dumb or is she being mean (most of the time it's both, she doesn't even realize how rude she is)

18:40 I think Alex being upset is more about the fact that Harper & Alex are best friends & future Harper wrote the books without so much as a conversation to Alex. Present & future. I think if future Harper had, had a conversation with future Alex, then present Alex would’ve been okay. Because she asked if she ever gave permission, and Harper says no, so matter of factly. Hopefully this makes sense! And future Harper didn’t write the books “in the future,” she wrote them in the present day (where no one knows about magic).

I'm both excited and not. I think the new cast will be pretty good, but I don't know how I feel about it only starring Justin out of the originals, and making him give up magic. I'm sure they'll explain why he gave it up, but I really can't think of a scenario that would make sense for why Justin would give up magic, I can picture Alex giving it up, but never Justin. Also, I was kinda hoping they utilized him being wizard professor, I feel like that opened the door to a lot of new storylines, I know they'll get to it, but I kinda felt like this revival didn't need to start Justin off with basically nothing. Like Raven's Home starting off with Raven unsuccessful makes sense since we never got an official That's So Raven finale that ties up Raven's fashion designer dreams, so to her to build to it in Raven's Home makes sense, but Justin being Wizard Professor is the perfect job for him. I do hope they talk about how unfair the family wizard competition is, and show how wizardry gets exposed to the world

For the sound conversation Jen and David have, as someone with hearing loss, the lack of sound is sometimes more of a feeling like there's a void in your ear and just quiet or a ringing sound. I thankfully only have a minor lack of hearing in one ear, but I lost it in college years ago so it's an adjustment.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be max, a wizard could reveal magic to the world later. And max actually proves quite adept at hiding the magic secrets in the late seasons with his obfuscating / actual stupid (the border of which is often hard to see). I would love to this revisited in the rebooty thing. But we may actually be too early for that yet by a decade or too. It’s not clear how old future harper is. Also, it’s not beyond this universe for that future to have been changed by events in season 3 & 4.

yeah, but I really want it to be Max anyway, they did kinda just assume it was him. I feel like Max needs more agency in the series, so to have him be the one to eventually reveal magic would be kinda cool (especially since we already saw Justin and Alex reveal it, Max revealing it would actually be something new, hopeful the reboot does it).

It's insane how many things they get wrong, in the last episode of season 3 when justin and alex reveal wizards to the world they do address what happened to Max. He passed the test and he's the only one who got to stay at the same level in the Wizard comp, letting alex and justin fall behind.....The whole begining plot of season 4 is that Max is going to be the family wizard.

The Disney censors didn't want the girl who refuses to do her homework to say she doesn't like to read. LOL It makes shows like Teen Titans Go feel edgy by comparison. Its a Cartoon Network show and they sometimes poke fun at stereotypical morals in kids shows. The did an episode that said books can be dangerous. Their imagination made the characters from the books come to life and they had to fight them.

On Wizards Exposed, the only one who didn't say anything about wizards was Max. Both Alex and Justin failed the test by revealing magic to the world. First Justin trying to help humanity against aliens, and then Alex called the press to tell them about magic.
