All those who are looking for jobs in UK or anywhere, please understand if I am an employer looking for accountants, I will not go to India looking for a candidate. So you first have to be a local and for that you have to have a visa to be in the UK and for that either you have to study or get a skilled visa to be physically present there to be a possible candidate. These are very logical first few steps. Any migration agent will give you the information for free or just Google it and save your time. Good luck

I think i can answer this question better. First of all make it clear which core finance domain you are interested in like Risk Management, Investment Banking, Corporate finance, Commercial banking, Consulting, Advisory etc.. . Step 2 - Find the universities and check the modules that is closely related to your field and complete the masters i.e Msc finance or MBA finance both are 1 year in UK and Ireland. Step 3 - Apply for Internships in 2nd sem and get a full time job - You don't need IELTS to study in UK i mean you get this advantage if you apply through consultant. If you compare canada and london both are good for finance but i say choose canada over UK because for long term it's a good opportunity and better pay than UK . In UK pay is decent and better work life balance. Since canada is bigger country lot of opportunities for Accounting and Finance. In UK all major financial institutions and banks are situated in london makes it little competative. But in canada even if it is competative you can apply for jobs in US. Even India has lot of good opportunities in finance like hedge funds, private equity, wealth management etc..

@@Manalee837 Yes Absolutely i know how difficult it is to do CA,just complete your CA there are lot of opportunities in india and abroad. Since you are in final now dont worry much about that. There are lot of different fields you can work into other than auditing once you become CA.

Its true... India already has some great colleges specially for MBA and foreign degrees (except ivy league) will not be given much importance. If you want to return to India for job

There are lot of job opportunities in UK if you are ACCA qualified don't fall for trap if people say there is no demand. In India and abroad it has a very good demand its not about degree its about skills and knowledge that is really important.
