I am from Kerala and a proud Hindu. I have been telling this to my friends that Islam & Christianity will face end in India as both these religions are man-made based on lies, cheat and bogus claims... basically have no Dharma in their faith, but blind belief with no rationale thinking or intelligence. If an all powerful Ravana can be finished by Srirama, its the strength of Dharma added to Rama's physical, strategic & fighting skills, attributed to the Avatar birth. So many such religions, cults, sects would have come and gone on earth, it all went under earth as it did not have the legitimacy of Dharma which would unite human species, other species & panchabhuthas. Yes what you said is true Acharyaji....in Kerala there was a custom in olden days that no one was allowed to take bath in the same pond, well , or river when a so called upper cast person was taking bath ...so taking this into consideration christian missionares and Islamists used to jump into the water body and just because of this all the hindus who where taking bath in it would be considered as out cast and they where forced to convert.....Jathivadh has done serious problem in our society and made it easy to convert hindus ....

, This is a wrong interpretation given by Christians and we Hindus fell for it. There were always some wells that some groups of people would have bath and others would not. And each had their own wells. India lived in complete harmony because they realized that practices of each group was different and so they did not intermingle or forcefully push everyone together. In fact jatis are groups of ppl who have similar food habits/ practices and in olden days they probably plied the same trade. Even today after all the democracy shouts there are separate churches for Whites and Blacks even in the US. If there are many Indians then there are churches for Indians also (separate). Why? Because while one group does their sermons seriously another group likes to sing and dance in their sermons. Does that mean casteism? Perhaps. But I don’t think so. This whole thing of caste (not even an Indian word) has been foisted just to show indigenous cultures in bad light- This is how all Europeans conquered and ruled over all races. While they convert Hindus to Christianity why doesn’t anyone question why after so many hundreds of years till date all Popes are whites? Why isn’t there a single black? End of the day, each community rules over individual religions and tries to control. If one analyses carefully same behavior in other community is not branded casteist. Only among Hindus it is. That’s the sad part.

Acharya Salil ji Namaskar: In itihaas of Bharat, we find it’s citizens have changed or switched their beliefs or faith whenever a mass movement took place like Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism which are offshoot of Sanatan besides converting to non Sanatan faith like Islam and Christianity. But I need to apprise that some Hindus who converted to Islam were brought back into Sanatan by a Sri Vallabhacharya (from Andhra) who founded the Pushtimarg Sampraday the Deity being propagated is Lord Krishna in BALSWAROOP SreeNathji aged seven; the Notable temple being at Nathdwara in Rajasthan besides lots of Havelis spread throughout the Country and some in foreign countries too. One such Haveli is in UAE existing for over a hundred years. The notable incidence: SRI Vallabhacharya DURING MUGHAL ERA especially during Akbar’s reign travelled on foot and in bullock cart and found that the sea faring class of people on coastal belts of Gujrat popularly known as KHARVAS whose KULDEVATA is the Ocean whom they call DARIYALAL were influenced and were practicing Islam because of their frequent travel to Middle East. SRI Vallabhacharya successfully brought many of them (not all) back to Sanatan They are known as LOHANAS Those who remained with Islam are today’s KHOJA or AGA KHANI whose religious head is Prince Aga Khan. The popular Surnames common, both amongst Khojas and Lohana are LAKHANI, BHAYANI, etc Although the LOHANAS are basically vegetarians but some traits of their disbanded habits can still be observed in them at times: I do not intend to offend anyone but this is my personal opinion. All said, inter caste marriages do take place.
