The timing of the guy in the hall smiling was perfect.

What makes me laugh the most in this video, is the person in the corridor bombing into the video when Falco opens the door

Are the strings tuned to AAGE?

yup. I've tried it out. I don't think he uses this on all the songs. It seems right for songs like bread cheese bow and arrow, arming Eritrea, future child embarrassment matrix, and a few others. Basically the songs where the rhythm guitar just souds heavy/ chunky af. i always use to think it as the fuzzy, distorted bass that made them sound so heavy, but that's only a part of it. Here's the problem though- chances are, you're going to have a hard time if you just try to detune your regular rig whenever you want to do this. The tension is totally different. You basically have to set up your guitar totally differently. At least that's what I've experienced. I use a fat strat, the kind with the claw in the back that pulls the bridge down. This needs to be adjusted. You need to correct the action. And the intonation. ANd your have to gradually adjust your neck to compensate for the change in tension. If you don't do all of that, you go out of tune very quickly, and your low A string is almost guaranteed to not stay in the nut when you are strumming chords. I think I'm gonna get a cheap squier telecaster that is always set up for AAGE. Honestly, I don't feel comfortable switching my 'merican fat strat to this tuning configuration. It just feels wonky. Can't be good for the neck or anything. I dig the tuning though. I also am a big fan of how the guys from Presidents of the United States do something similar. THey both use "guitars", but they're modified. One of them has 2 strings on a basitar- this guy plays the bass parts. The strings are placed where the D and G usually go. The D string is .6 gauge and is tuned down to C#. The G string is a .36 tuned to G#. THe other dude plays a guitbas and he uses strings that go where the A, D, and G usually go. .54 tuned to C#, .42. tuned to G#, and .32 tuned to C#.
