No doubt it will benefit many, but if one carefully looks at the projects, it is quite evident that even if West Bengal has 1 Metro and Several other Tier-2 Cities, the only beneficiary of the MEGA-PROJECTS is Kolkata. This is the main frustration of the people living outside 100km radius of Kolkata. This Kolkata-Centric Development has to be done away with. And this will probably not happen until West Bengal gets a Chief Minister who is not a Kolkata Local.

First of all people living in Kolkata have to come out of the mindset that everything outside in suburb. Places like Durgapur, Asansol have very high potential. Yeah ofc Kolkata should have major development projects, but there should be some for the other cities as well. Look at Bihar, where nothing except Patna is developed, whereas in UP, other than Noida, Lucknow, Kanpur, Allahabad are also developing.

Great infrastructure updates for WB. All projects will gamechangers if completed. The highway projects progress is very slow in WB compared to Maharashtra. Kolkata Siliguri expressway is a welcome news hope I will travel on it. This will not only improve business and industry to North Bengal and NE but also boost tourism. Current road connectivity is very bad in this route.

Siliguri is developing at a rapid rate! The roads here changed overnight and the remaining are being rapidly developed. The NJP station is also being expanded. The matigara area is being massively expanded with several multi storey buildings and four 27floor buildings under construction there. Not to mention, the airport is being expanded into one of the largest international airports in India. Soon we will also get an IT park.

Development is the way to grow but development doesn't mean destroying the city- soul should be intact while developing, it's need planning of how to develop the city like The Kolkata- it's the city of culture _ the city of palace. Even after left government _ the rightist government like TMC didn't do anything to provide benefits for foreign investors which lead to WB's slow development or rather I'd say the reason for undevelopment of WB. The same development strategy can't work for the city of joy, for development of the city of culture_ governments should make plans according to the city and in this case for the city of palace. Govt has no plans to boost infra.... no new airport, 15 years long unfinished metro rail projects, no single corridor works is in progress.... in dankuni, project cost alloted Rs 1000/- only for last 5 years. भारतीय आर्किटेक्ट, डिजाइनर और इंजीनियरस को लगातार चाइना भेजना चाहिए, जापान भेजना चाहिए, यूरोप के अलग देशों में भेजना चाहिए, अमेरिका भेजना चाहिए❤ भेजते रहना चाहिए 👉 ताकि वह वहां जाकर वहां के इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर मेट्रो स्टेशंस सबवे, सड़कें और यह सब कुछ देखें और उससे प्रेरणा मिले उनको कि क्या-क्या किया जा सकता है भारत में इससे बेहतर,, हां मगर नकल नहीं करनी है कुछ अलग बनाना है. ध्यान रहे कि अफसरों और नेताओं को भेजने का कोई फायदा नहीं, जिनलोगों ने ground पर काम करना है उनको ही भेजें। चीन का इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर देखकर होश उड़ जाते हैं यहां तक कि यूरोप और अमेरिका के लोगों के भी, जिससे चीन का नाम भी होता है और Tourism भी बढ़ता जा रहा है।।😊
