I think you did a fantastic job on rebuilding the Ragnarok to fit the current era of FtD, however I am not overly fond of the quad main turrets. Yes they're one gun more powerful and have much better tetris than potential triple gun turrets, but it just doesn't suit the Ragnarok in my opinion. However, great series and I wish to see more from you in the future!

After hearing the "End of the world vs. big snake" line, I think an interesting challenge would be to build a CRAM Dreadnought designed to defeat the Ragnarok that you could call Jormungandr, fits in with your snake motif while meshing in with Ragnarok's motif of norse mythos

I'll also add my comments as I go through the video. The front gun was switched to Sabot as a test against frontsiders and ERA spammers which ended up working; so I kept it. It was originally APFrag. The CIWS, admittedly, I was lazy on. I didn't optimize the explosive CIWS at all. And I switched the Kine CIWS to sabot last minute to add more DPS. I actually forgot to remove the top layer of smoke, but all the smoke is in the armor. At least, the smoke that matters. There's about 2 smoke dispensers hidden in the armor for everyone you see. The "shield hubs" were a holdover from the old Ragnarok, I simply couldn't do anything else. The deck armor is weak because, well, there's nothing underneath the wood. Woops! I forgot to armor stack the AI core. Thanks for noticing. Nothing but slopes there! The cult room is actually a reference to Chainsaw Man. I made the azipods, looked at the Meg's azi and found a similar deco. I'll be adding an ACB to that AI core, that was a late addition so I didn't add to it. It is 4 clip tetris, not 3. The AI doesnt listen to me telling it what distance to fight at. But yeah, spawning at 1500 doesn't give the CIWS time to act, as you noted. You also skipped my favorite gun's fun part, the sabot chainsaw! My point about CRAM frontsider is to basically make something super duper fast and drop a CRAM bomb and gtf out until it reloads. That's how you end up with CRAMs actually being pretty high in the tier list...you just can't do em with slow ships. From what I saw, sabot noses reduces impact angle to 75%, which reduces 4m wedges effective health from 5x original value to 1x of the 4m beam variant. Definitely hurting wedge spam

all the ships i bulid i build them realistically i only build battleships. and from looking at ship plans and such. ALL warships are is some kind of variation of a SUPER thick armored box. with all the critical componets inside. surounded by a hydrodynamic hull. now warships being stronger or weaker than one another in terms of armour is all around the Torpedo bulges. and how good of a box design you have under the ships skin. it also saves ATON of weight to just have big armored box. with super heavy armored barbettes the only thing protuding through this box. and a ship hull wrapped around it. i built a 1:1 replica of bismarck off ship plans its SUPER survivable. takes 20 minutes for Crossbones or Plunderer to damage it enough for the deck to reach the water line.

BW, you have nothing to feel lacking about. Raggy ATE the Draconia and left Gmodism whining. This refit is a phuquing piece slaughterful art. I stand by my statement that I would love nothing more than to see Lathrix make a ship competitive to all of these SBB builds. Furthermore, T-Stally was the ship that pushed the KZbinrs to start making these SBB's Being blunt, were you to put the time into building a Min/Max'd ship, I think these other guys might have to fold their hands. Just a matter of putting the Lazy Bug back in its tank, and deciding that this was something you REALLY wanted to accomplish.

Also, I have some Ideas for you to Try when Building more Ships (Or rework the Staalslang Mk. 2) Warships are Usually Defined in two ways as seen in the Course of History. • By their Gun Caliber like back in World War Two or • By Their Design role as we see today. Back in World War Two, the U.S. Navy would have their Ships defined by the Guns they had..... • 5"/38 Caliber Guns for Destroyers and Secondaries for Light Cruisers, Heavy Cruisers, Battlecruisers and Battleships. • 3"/50 Caliber Guns for Destroyer Escorts. • 6"/47 Caliber Guns for Light Cruisers (Unless it's an Anti-Aircraft Light Cruiser which used the Destroyer caliber Guns). • 8"/55 Caliber Guns for Heavy Cruisers. • 12"/50 Caliber Guns for Battlecruisers. • 14" and 16" Guns in both 45 and 50 Calibers for Battleships. The British Had Different guns and Mainly relied on The Design of the Ship for it's role. • 4.7"/45 Caliber Guns and 4"/45 Caliber Guns for Corvettes, Frigates and Destroyers, and as Secondaries for Light and Heavy Cruisers. • 5.25"/50 Caliber Guns for Light Anti-Aircraft Cruisers and as Secondaries for Battleships. • 6"/50 Caliber Guns for Light Cruisers. • 8"/50 Caliber Guns for Heavy Cruisers. • 15"/42 Caliber Guns for Battlecruisers (as Typical, you trade Armor for Speed because speed is your Armor) and Older Battleships (Queen Elizabeth and Revenge/Royal Sovereign-class). • 14"/45 Caliber Guns (2 in. Short of the 46 Caliber Mark) and 16"/45 Caliber Guns for More Modern Battleships. The Main Purpose of Corvettes, Frigates, and Destroyer Escorts is to Protect the Transport Ships as they Steam in Convoy mainly from Submarines. The Same for the Escort Carriers with their Small Aviation Facilities, with the U.S. Navy forming Composite Squadrons for each Escort Carrier usually having 16 Fighter-Bombers and 12 Multirole Torpedo Bombers at best. These Ships move no faster than a Transport Ship. Destroyers will usually Protect the Convoy or the Fleet from Submarines as well as Aircraft and since They're faster than the Smaller Ships, they can Keep Pace with an Aircraft Carrier Task Force. Light Cruisers will usually Provide Heavier Anti-Aircraft Defence than a Destroyer but can also protect against any Surface Threats that aren't much larger than itself and are usually at the Outer edge of the Anti-Aircraft Screen for a Fast Carrier Task Force. Heavy Cruisers will provide even Heavier Anti-Aircraft Defence than the Light Cruisers and Destroyers and Can Sometimes be seen in place of Light Cruisers. Their 8" Guns can also pack a punch when used for Bombardments (More than a Light Cruiser's 6" Gun or a Destroyer's 5" gun) and can also help Battleships out for this role if need be. Battlecruisers are the Middle Ground between a Heavy Cruiser and a Battleship, Utilizing Speed for Armor and Having a Decent Amount of Firepower at their Disposal. Battleships are Large, Powerful Warships that are Either at the Back of a Aircraft Carrier Task Force Anti-Aircraft Screen or Leading a Bombardment Force in the Preparation of Hostile Shores for an Amphibious Assault. Gone are the Days of Jutland and Welcome to the Days of the Aircraft Carrier Task Force. These will be your most Expensive units short of an Aircraft Carrier and are to be Handled with care, much like the Axis Powers of World War Two Found out the Hard way LMAO! If you can Manage to Build Staalslang with at least Twin Mount Cram Cannons to her Appropriate Ship Type you might be in Business. Finding an Appropriate Secondary Battery will prove to be Quite the Interesting Challenge since you'll likely need to Widen her Out by maybe 6 Blocks at least in order to Fit the Twin Mount Cram Cannons in the First place. The Armor Layout will also be Interesting as you now have 2 New Standards to live up to by the Names of "Olympus Mons" and "Ragnarök". Then there's the Anti-Aircraft Battery, you could go for a More Modern CWIS or the Classic Bofors 40 millimeter L/60 and Oerlikon 20 millimeter L/70 Anti-Aircraft Guns, amounts and Configurations are entirely up to you. Hope this helps give you some idea of how you can Rework the Staaly in the Future or even Build newer Ships for your Fleet. Also, Try not to make their Hulls like Canoe's, it's only does for certain ship classes when you have a good long look at them.

It's in the About page of my channel, I never remember off the top of my head. FtD performamce in general is less about the GPU and more about the CPU. Lots of blocks and physics = lots of calculations needed.
