Excellent unreleased bootleg of perhaps Future Sound Of London's biggest track from 1991, remixed in 2003 by Nu:Tone. Yeah this is bound to be up but its a quality D&B track that I just had to upload here, so there ; ))

I have this on vinyl. Not normally a Drum & Bass guy, but I remember in 2002/03 waiting for the Essential Mix to come on Radio 1, Fabio had a radio show just before it and I heard him play this whilst waiting, I was absolutely blown away by it. I just had to buy it, and it's one of my treasured pieces of vinyl I have. One of those happy accidents.

This is a masterpiece of a track, such a perfect atmospheric update of a classic tune, Dan really outdid himself on this, not many people could take a tune like Papua New Guinea and add something to it, but this is golden. Just found a white label for sale, this needs to be in my collection.

I bought this in Black Market when it came out and the guy said (or I thought he said) it was a Calibre remix, so I’ve been incorrect since 2003 😂. Still one of my favourite records I own.

I compared this to the high contrast mix, and I have to say that this is better by miles. I am always scared when I hear a remix of a song that should never be touched, but I think this does it justice. Can't wait to get in the car and blast this one. Top man, Mickey.

Amazing how a drum beat from the late 60s has inspired such a great musical movement. Only in the Uk. Obviously the slowed down use of the break in hip hop in the US too.
