NATA - I’m on the floor in disbelief!!!!! Last month I was in Israel for my son’s bar mitzvah. I was only there for a couple days for his actual even. While the rest of his family, including my ex-husband (his dad) with the new wife, my stepdaughter etc. long story! So to make it short - my part of Jerusalem, I couldn’t get a cab to make it out in time to the hotel where my son was staying for me to bring his suit to change into in time for his bar mitzvah. I was a mess. One of my ex-husbands best friends lives in Tel Aviv. So he invited him to Jerusalem for the bar mitzvah ceremony and he ended up coming to my rescue - as my ex husband sent him to my hotel to pick me up!!!!!!!!! The ceremony goes by smoothly, we all have dinner and at dinner I get a text message from this friend for me to stay more days in Israel. I already had a flight back to Los Angeles though. But again - long story short - we end up spending the rest of the evening together. Until my cab came at 2:30 in the morning to take me to the airport!
