Good CAMs have the best AI in the game. It probably has something to do with the interaction between offensive and defensive positioning stats and the roles. You just get more AI when you stick an attacker in the middle.

Of course it’s different when people play different compared to pre-patch. Also we have TOTY defenders in every team now. The gameplay is still the same. The people are not. Also the servers have been crap but that’s nothing new over the last decade

It’s not a shadow patch, there’s loads of variables, 1) People who can actually play the game came back, 2) there was some insane evos that came out recently so most people have pretty good teams now, 3) everyone realised it’s all about pace, so have faster CB’s etc now and 4) more players = more strained servers. I stopped playing in October because the game was ass, too much Ai defending etc I had an 85 rated squad, new patch came out, evo’d the fuck out of my team and got some good packs pulls, within 2 weeks, I’ve got a 92 rated squad. Those saying ‘shadow patch’ it really is a skill issue because the game still feels great to play

Guys, I am finally hanging my controller. Didn’t pack a single Blue during TOTY and now I’m left with Geyse, numero mascherano, and insigne and with 34K coins. Too stressful to play fut champs with fodder against Eusebio and etc. Gameplay is also not so great either and the same 4213 meta is boring. Will go back to being a casual.
