I genuinely don't see the point in making another OOT Remake. It's weird to why so many people want it to me. It just feels redundant. We already got a remake on the 3DS that was pretty much superior in everyway. Just port the 3DS version to the Switch, make a few tweaks and we'll be good. We don't need another remake of an already perfect game. In My Opinion.

It would be much easier for Nintendo to port the 3DS version with slightly enhanced graphics to the Switch, even if they might have to adjust the UI & menu design to make it suitable for the Switch (removing the touch screen feature or reduce it a bit)

Tbh I think WW needs a remake more than OoT. WW got hit really hard with it's cut content, and it'd be nice to see them reintroduce the cut dungeons and work in the whole of underwater hyrule idea that was scrapped. After that an OoT with update TP combat would be nice.

I always looked forward to a Mario 3D All-Stars type of trilogy collection where WW HD, TP HD and either OoT or MM (with the enhanced graphics of the 3DS versions) were included. They would make easy money with such a collection, especially since some people skipped on the Wii U and therefore had no opportunity to play the HD remasters of TP and WW

Nintendo will never make a full on remake with missing content restored because their sales figures say they don't have to. They have given excuses multiple times saying the cut stuff went on to be used in other games

Well Nintendo doesn’t make Zelda games at the same pace that Bethesda makes Fallout or Elder Scrolls games. Nintendo has dedicated teams that begin work on the next title as soon as the other is completed. Were as it’s been 10 years since the last mainline entry of Elder Scrolls.

@@jackginney6795 Nothing new has popped up about Twilight Princess to my knowledge, but if Wind Waker gets confirmed I think that would then raise some questions as to what happened with TP since they were rumored together. Maybe it just comes a bit later. Lately I have been leaning towards Nintendo saving that one for an eventual remake, like a better version of the Wii U tech demo. Just my opinion though.

I'm glad new 2D Zelda games are in the pipeline, and if they're structured like Echoes of Wisdom, I'll be at least okay with it. 3D Zelda on the other hand doesn't interest me anymore if it's all just gonna be open air freedom. I know I am the only one but I hope the next 3D Zelda we get is not open world. Or at least like botw totk. They have been done to death already with formula since those games are way too long. Regardless if you focus on the main game or not. I am hoping for a much tighter 3D Zelda where puzzles are not practically non existent like in the botw style games. Even echoes is same as those games, Just in 2d form. If we don’t get a more traditional 3D Zelda then I hope we at least get something different from botw totk. After one of aonuma’s last interviews a while ago, it seems to be the case. We will see. Again, I know I am probably the only one that thinks this but it’s my opinion on Zelda games. If it’s another botw totk style game with exact same mechanics then I think I am officially done with Zelda forever.

I really hope the wind waker is announced and shadow dropped this month or December. I've waited soo long for both ports, no being stuck on a dead console. I haven't played both in about 10 years. Their in my top 3. The remakes are Zelda 1 and 2, link to the past, the Oracles remake. I m guessing ocarina is being remade for switch 2 and released for the 40th anniversary. They ported almost every major title from the Wii U to the Switch, but I never understood why both Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD haven't been ported yet. I mean, even New Super Mario Bros U and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze got ported and they just got minimal changes such as Peachette in the Mario game & the Funky Mode in the DK game
