If you get actual candy corn - the kind made with honey they're pretty good and have a distinct flavor. The majority of the candy corn you see at mass market is simply corn syrup, corn starch, and dye, and it has no flavor aside from being generically sweet. Peanut M&Ms are D list; they're just larger M&Ms - which are lackluster on their own, but with the peanut variety you always approach eating them with trepidation, because in the back of your mind you know eventually you're going to bite into one and it'll have a bad, foul-tasting peanut inside.
