Floor lamp 2 easily looks to be my favorite with that gradient. I am really not into govee slapping speakers into anything. I have my speaker preferences, and I'm never going to use some integrated speaker in a light. Especially if it doesn't have more robust options for connecting to my audio devices than just bluetooth.

I really like the cylinder. I bought that after seeing your review of it. The only thing I wish it had was an adjustable height, so that I could put it where I'd really like to. Other than that, it's a really great light, with lots of options. I find the "Reading" light to be quite bright if it's adjusted. The other more whimsical options are fun.

Personally, I hate that they included a speaker in it. music is huge for me and a speaker on the floor is not going to cut it. Id rather not have the added cost but get the premium light and rely on my Sonos system for audio. just my two cents. That being said, I love the mini desk lamp I have now like the cylinder lamp, and am just waiting for the version two of the cylinder lamp comes out, hopefully with an LED ring at the bottom comes out and I'll get a couple of them.

Thanks for the review! Is it possible to turn off the base lighting on the Pro (and 2)? It can be pretty distracting for certain applications or when you just want a chill wall wash.

Great question, yes you can turn off the base lighting on the Pro (and 2). Through the app there are two different Power Buttons to further select what to turn on or off.

I'd like to have the pro minus the speaker, it's not needed, just the light is enough. Great video! I was about to get the basic, because I don't need the spealer, but it's too dim and it doesn't have matter, so I guess I'll get the 2 instead.

i'll stick with my lyra lamps, which i got on sale & when i compare the specs with the pro its not really that much besides the speaker & 360° bottom ambient light, also when i saw the price i was like "nope thx".

The Pro lamp goes much brighter than the old lyra lamps, however yea probably not worth upgrading if you already have a bunch of lyra's!

Really personal preference, both are great - Perhaps the cylinder lamp for your specific need if your looking to throw the light in all directions.

I really like the cylinder light. It provides a nice amount of light and the effects are really cool. I really don't have a need for a bluetooth speaker and I think it really limits the market for the "Pro" lamp. People that spend $220 for a light and people that have homepods, sonos, or another nice speaker solution is probably a big overlap.

I think if you have 220$ to throw at a lamp, you'd probably be best served by buying real speakers rather than using a shitty Bluetooth one. Even the sound test here was a poor example, providing somewhat ideal conditions with the lamp raised 3+' above the floor and the mic only a few feet away. These pole lights generally feel like they have limited applicability, and are expensive for the limited functionality they provide. A cheap Phillips LED smart bulb can be had for 12$ and fits into most any lamp if you just want to light up a wall/corner. Of these the RGBICWW at least seems to provide a better set of visualization options, though you're probably better off with just their RGBIC Night Light for similar effects in a smaller/cheaper package.
