Did you have any issues with the Pixoo 64 connecting or staying connected to WiFi? (2.4g vs 5g issues?) And... do you actually use it for counting YT subscribers? (I'd like to see different styles for the YT counter personally.)

I use it mainly as a date/time clock! Actually installing it permanently in a new spot over the next day. For video's I'll likely put it on an animation.

I got this through the Kickstarter (or was it Indiegogo?) upon release, great device. Alexa support is really janky unfortunately so I use a smart plug to switch it on/off.

Yea, that's why I setup custom routines/voice triggers for it and I find that works quite well!

@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE That's what I tried but it was really weird. It was an Alexa skill and in order to turn the bleeping thing off I had to listen to over half a minute of waffle each time. Just used the smart plug and Bob's your uncle.

I am thinking about, buying one. But I read some comments, that the 64 version sometimes just freezes on the loading screen and that u have to replace the sd card and this happens again and again and one time nothing works and so the device doesn't work anymore....so i'm not sure if i should buy one if it won^t even function properly for at least 2-3 years :/

I just bought it, but I found it a little dim :( Did you experience the same thing? I bought a max and a 64, but huuuge difference in brightness. Max gets way brighter. Even when 64 is in enhanced brightness mode

It is dimmer than the Max, but it's also got 4x the LEDs. Still good though.

Hi there, mainly the pixel effect is the point in a nicely framed up way, it's sort of the appeal of these displays; That retro pixel like feel! Also you get a huge library and social network of designed images tailored for the Divoom devices.

It is not 2 x the previous screen which is 32 x32 = 1056 and the new 64led is 64 x 64 = 4096 (;)

I’ve had my divoom since they released it on Kickstarter and my one concern is that it randomly turns on. It’ll do it in the middle of the night while I’m sleeping and it kinda scares me a little. Lol I’ve checked settings and I can’t find anything that has an auto on.
